A pLace to ReLax

Made of sustainably sourced beech, this deckchair provides a traditional resting spot in the summer garden. Each wooden frame is built in a workshop near Nottingham before travelling to an upholsterer near Oxford to be fitted with its fabric sling. Oxfordshire-based maker Hen and Hammock selected all the materials to be long-lasting. The fine-grained beech ages well, while the polycotton fabric is more hard-wearing than 100 per cent cotton. It has a polythene warp and a cotton weft but remains soft to the touch.
