Lavender lemonade

In a saucepan, combine the caster sugar with 50ml of cold water and add the lavender. Simmer for 5 mins to dissolve the sugar and then allow to cool. Squeeze the juice of all the lemons and add to a large jug. Fill with ice to a third of the way up. Mix in 600ml of cold water, stirring with a long wooden spoon. Strain the lavender buds from the sugar mixture, then add the mixture to the jug. Stir well and serve. Decorate jars with sprigs of different types of lavender.
