Taste of the West Country

Friends Ian Wellens and James Mann set up their online business The Cheese Shed in 2006. Their aim was to make the cheeses of the West Country easily available to the rest of the country. Working with a range of makers from across the region, they supply approximately 100 cheeses, from Cheddars and soft varieties to blue and goats’ cheeses. As well as offering individual cheeses, shoppers can also compile gift hampers with a range of items including condiments, crackers and wine.
