28 December
Experience the tradition of orchard wassailing at Sulgrave Manor, built by the ancestors of George Washington. Join in the celebration of the harvest and the apple trees that produce cider by limbering up your vocal cords. This pagan custom is carried out to ensure a good harvest for the cider makers. Cups of hot cider are handed out after the celebration to warm you up.
