Learn the basics of locomotive driving with this one-day course. Based at Swanage station, start the day at 9.30am with a breakfast roll in the Bird’s Nest Buffet, followed by a safety briefing by the railway experts. Experienced enginemen will teach the basic principles of driving these fascinating but fundamentally simple machines, before you can get in and have a go.
