Floors with shine

Boots and shoes worn in March and April’s wet and windy weather can take a heavy toll on wooden floors once back indoors. However, they can be revitalised with a bit of effort. For a natural cleaner that will leave a shine, 1 gallon of hot water is mixed with ¾ cupful of olive oil and ½ cupful lemon juice. The water and lemon juice clean the floor, while the olive oil leaves a natural sheen. It is applied with a mop or cloth and left to dry.
