Learn the basics of cheese making in this one day workshop. The differences between hard and soft cheeses are explained as well as the importance of different starter cultures, curdling agents and how temperature and humidity effect the final product. Create a soft cheese using goat’s, ewe’s or cow’s milk under the guidance of an expert artisan cheese maker. The milk is not only used to make soft cheeses, but it is also made into set and drinking yogurts, and into farm house cheddars and other hard cheeses.
