Spring fragrance
Cuttings of spring flowers introduce soft pastel colour and fragrance into the home for the first time in the new season. Hyacinthus orientalis, with its dense clusters of highly fragrant flowers against fresh, glossy leaves, contrasts with the delicate rosette petals of primula, with its piercing daffodil-gold centre. For an informal arrangement, sprigs and individual flowerheads can be simply displayed in a small earthenware teapot or milk jug.
