Keeping pages dust free
Regular care helps preserve the life of books so they are free of dust and mildew, and do not become a home for insects. On a weekly basis, it is sufficient to dust the tops and spines of the books and the part of the shelf that protrudes beyond them. During a spring clean, the whole shelf can be wiped and books cleaned and tidied individually, including inside the dust covers where debris builds up. Leather-bound books make a feature when arranged together in a row.
