Jar of string

A ball of string is a useful thing to have handy in the home. One way to make sure it does not get tangled in a drawer is to make a container for it. A clean jam jar is ideal. A hole is pierced in the lid, with the edges filed smooth. Then the string is threaded through the hole, leaving the ball neatly in the jar.
