Way to nurture nature

The wonderful National Wildflower Centre in Huyton, Liverpool, closed earlier this year because of lack of funding. Frequently, we read of the growing fashion for foraging wild produce from our frighteningly depleted countryside. How good it would be if foragers and lovers of our wild places could leave space in their own gardens for wild flowers to continue, in a small way, the inspirational work of the National Wildflower Centre and leave a little room for nature.
