Motivation to pick up a brush

I am a keen allotmenteer and grow flowers for cutting among the veg, so I am always fascinated by the garden features in LandScape. However, I am also learning to paint with acrylics, and I was so inspired by the roses on the cover of the May/ June issue that I just had to put brush to board and give it a go.
