Walking on the wild side

Your article, ‘Wild Winds of Winter’ in the Nov/ Dec 2017 issue reminded me of our New Year’s Eve walk on Cheswick beach in Northumberland. Never have we walked in such wild and windy conditions. Here is a photo of my children taken on the day. It looks like they could have been on the moon or in the Sahara. It certainly was an exhilarating, memorable walk. Suzanne Lakie, Scottish Borders
