The gloaming hour

-

In April, daylight hours extend far enough beyond the end of the working day to allow a gentle evening stroll. On the first of the month, the sun sets at 7.41pm, and by the 30th, it will not set until 8.32pm. The extended hours of daylight allow the glorious landscape to be appreciated much later than usual. Walks can be taken to soak up the rosy, golden rays and beauty of the fading day. At this time, the radiance of the setting sun can also be enjoyed without the busyness of crowds, permitting a moment of restorative quiet alone or shared with loved ones.
