A PENSIVE HARE

-

This tiny felt brooch with hand stitched detailing features a moon-gazing hare. In Pagan times, hares were believed to signify new beginnings due to their appearance at springtime, often seen at twilight. Approximately 5cm in diameter, the brooch is crafted by Jane Spencer at her Worcestershire home. A former teacher, she is now pursuing her passion for fibre art, specialising in felting. The brooch has a card inner for stiffness and metal pin at the back. There may be a slight variation in colour due to its individuality.
