Harmonious pairing

-

Chestnut paling forms a natural-looking fence, which in a short time can become engulfed by flowers, creating a wild barrier and focal point. The wood has a naturally high tannin content and is cleaved by hand along the grain to retain its natural strength, so lasts many years without treatment. It can be moved around to enclose spaces temporarily or left to slowly become part of the garden.
