Fleeting works of art

-

Fronds of bracken and grass strands are caught in the edges of an embroidery frame to create a natural wall hanging. The simplicity of the display highlights the movement, texture and colour of the greenery, its transience also part of its beauty. As they fade, the plants are replaced with fresh ones, easily gathered from the garden. The frames are then hung or propped against a pale wall to best show off their form and colour.
