1940s Wartime Weekend

Great Central Railway, Loughborough, Leicestershire 1-3 June

An evocative weekend commemorating life in wartime Britain, with Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly-pasts, Spitfire aerial displays, mock battles, live music and theatre. There will also be period entertainment, displays of military vehicles, visiting ‘dignitaries’, such as Winston Churchill, as well as hundreds of re-enactors dressed in the traditional clothes of the period.
