Broadstairs Dickens Festival

Broadstairs, Kent 15-17 June

the streets of the gentile town will bring the victorian era to life as the residents celebrate the life of charles Dickens, the town’s most famous visitor between 1837 and 1859. there will be performances, victorian banquets and demonstrations, with costumed characters dressed in the traditional garments of the period. Highlights include a period country Fayre and a Dickensian beach party.
