Bees and bugs
This simple variation on noughts and crosses offers three opportunities for entertainment. First, a set of 10 pebbles of similar size and weight must be found. These are then divided into two sets of five and painted in bright colours, with detail added in white and black. After being left to dry, the games can begin. Four stalks of grass on a tree stump make the grid and turns are taken placing one stone at a time in the spaces. Who will be the first to get three in a row?
