A MOVABLE FEAST

A simple wooden crate doubles as a portable picnic table for summer outings. It can be used to carry glasses, crockery, cutlery, food and drink all carefully wrapped with blankets and protected by soft cushions. At a well-chosen site, shaded from the bright sun, the crate is unpacked. It is then turned upside down and a tablecloth spread over the top. A small posy of flowers cut from the garden and an elegant candle add a romantic touch. When the sun begins to dip, everything can be packed away in the crate and transported home.
