Restored to brightness
Summer’s long days are often spent relaxing or picnicking on the grass, and stubborn stains can sometimes result. Easy to come by, they often prove difficult to remove. To clean off, a solution is made of one part white vinegar to two parts water. Using a spray bottle, it is applied directly onto the strain and scrubbed with a toothbrush or rough rag. The item of clothing is then hand-washed in an enzyme-based laundry detergent. Once the stain has disappeared, the garment can be hung out to dry in bright sunshine.
