DRIFTING IN SCENT

A vase of bright, scented flowers kept by the bed offers colour and fragrance at many points of the day. The morning is greeted with their soft perfume and bright cheer, even as the alarm goes off. An afternoon nap, or quiet hour spent lazing on the bed with a book is enhanced by their sweet smell and in the evening, sleep is drawn on as the day winds to a close. Though flowers are often displayed in busier rooms, the bedroom offers a moment of quiet and privacy in which their qualities can be deeply enjoyed and appreciated.
