WS Seascape Painting

St Ives School of Painting, Cornwall 17 and 24 August

Be inspired by the work of Borlase Smart, a highly respected marine artist and resident of the Porthmeor studios, and learn the techniques needed to capture the dramatic motions of the sea as it crashes against the shore. In this workshop, participants will be able to experiment with a variety of techniques and approaches to gouache and oils to express the ocean’s relentless energy and create a dynamic piece of work. All materials will be provided and step-by-step tuition given on the day.
