Working from her home in the Lower Calder valley, Amanda Blackwell crafts simple, comfortable slippers from felt. Each pair is hand-stitched without the use of any glue. The soles are made from multiple layers of felt, with latex patches for grip on smooth surfaces. They are trimmed with a felt star and small pink button. Available ready to wear, they can also be bought as a kit to be stitched at home.
