Battle of Prestonpans

Greenhills, Prestonpans, East Lothian

An exciting weekend filled with a series of dramatic re-enactments, including a recreation of the Raising of the Standard, cavalry displays and war councils, culminating in the spectacular re-enactment of the battle. Visitors will be able to explore the Jacobite and Hanoverian camps, talk to re-enactors dressed in traditional garments and immerse themselves in the history of the period.
