Richmond Walking and Book Festival

organised by a small, dedicated team of local volunteers in conjunction with swaledale outdoor club and castle Hill Bookshop, the festival offers a varied programme of evening talks and events alongside guided walks around the beautiful landscape of the yorkshire Dales in autumn. enjoy walks for amblers, ramblers and serious hikers, led by expert guides keen to share their knowledge of the landscape, and spend a cultured evening listening to poetry, taking part in book discussions and meeting new, celebrated authors.
