A CHANGE OF SCENE
Outside, the vibrant colour of summer mutates to richer autumn hues, but in the home it can linger for a few months more. A collection of paintings and drawings, united by the common theme of florals in bloom, are hung together in a corner of the house. The pictures selected are of various sizes and dimensions, but arranged closely enough together to make a coherent collection. Some experimentation may be needed to find the most pleasing composition. When displayed together, the images, painted in different styles and perspectives, convey the liveliness of a border in full flower. The addition of a vase of chrysanthemums and zinnias on a small table below, upon which another image is propped, amplifies the effect.
