CANDLE IN A TIN

-

Tea lights or the remnants of simple ivory candles can be melted and re-used. The wax is placed in a small pan sitting in a larger pan filled one third of the way up with boiling water. The pans are placed over a low heat so the water melts the wax. The wick can be carefully removed and used again. After cooling slightly, the wax is poured into a small, shallow lidded tin.
