Storing food for the birds

I thought I would share a tip for feeding garden birds. I keep a little tub in the fridge for any scraps of cheese, cake, dried fruit and nuts. When this is full, I put it in the blender and take it out for our bird table. It is important to keep the birds fed, especially during the winter months. Bruce Wilkinson, Devon
