MARCHING ON

-

Three black crows cross a snow-coated gate, perhaps on the search for their next meal. They are cut from 2.5mm powder-coated black steel, so are tough enough to withstand the winter weather. Each has been made by Jolyon Yates from his workshop in Whitley Bay, where he is inspired by nature and the work of his artist and architect father. A screw hole and a prong at the base mean they can be fixed to wood or planted in the ground. Crow garden sculpture £49.95, www.jolyonyates.com
