HOW TO BREW

Espresso is rich, dark and very strong, made by forcing almost boiling water through finely ground coffee beans at high pressure. It can be brewed using a stove-top espresso maker on a gas hob or with a specialised espresso machine. For baking, freshly brewed, strong, black coffee can be used in its place.
