In the kitchen

A blackboard inside a kitchen or pantry door is a handy place for scribbling reminders, jobs to do or shopping lists. A wooden panel can be sanded down and blackboard paint applied so the helpful notes will not be missed when passing through. A piece of chalk is kept on a nearby shelf for convenience. Once shelves are restocked, the board is wiped clean, ready for a new week.
