Boxes of books

I was intrigued by the revival of old postboxes in villages, mentioned in the October issue. I am moving house and had two huge boxes of books to give away. While driving through Fritham in the New Forest, I spotted a K6 telephone box and took great delight in leaving my beloved books for hikers, villagers and holidaymakers. There is something satisfactory about giving back to others and making use of such an iconic landmark. Melanie Taylor, Kent
