Planting in Pots

-

As well as woodland areas and flower borders, Celia plants up lots of pots with spring flowering bulbs to add cheery colour and life to the kitchen patio, even on the coldest, dourest day. “I like a mix of hyacinths, narcissi and winter pansies,” she explains, and each pot is a celebration of different shapes and forms. “There’s always winter colour here, and we extend the springtime through the planting of bulbs. On a sunny morning, we’ll bring coffee out here to enjoy it all.”
