HOLD THE DOOR
This chunky doorstop is carved from oak and rubbed with linseed oil, and features a blacksmith-forged handle ring. It may prove invaluable when the wind is blustering, and there are plenty of jobs to do in the garden. Made by Oliver Madams at his smithy in the West Midlands, the timber is taken from trees which have naturally fallen or been felled. At approximately 31cm tall, 12cm wide and weighing 4kg, it proves a reliable foil to the early spring weather.
