TEXTURES OF NATURE

Each of these handblown wine glasses has been textured with real moss, gathered in the Lake District. Their maker, Emma Mackintosh, forages for a variety of natural materials on walks near her home or from her garden, enhancing her glassware with handfuls of fern, kale or Herdwick wool. The stems are infused with blue and green colouring, evoking the colours of a mountain lake and showing how deeply the local landscape inspires her work.
