SPRAY OF FRAGRANCE

The scent and colour of spring are brought into the home in an arrangement which makes the most of both. A large wooden bowl is generously filled with handfuls of fragrant flowers such as poet’s jasmine or spring-flowering Clematis armandii, which will slowly open and release a sweet, heady perfume. A clutch of grape hyacinth, such as Muscari armeniacum or the scented Muscari aucheri ‘Blue Magic’ placed in a tin can in the centre of the bowl, stands above the tumbling white blooms, in shades of lilac and blue.
