Hay Festival

For more than 30 years, an annual festival of literature and arts has been held in Hay-on-Wye. The event receives thousands of visitors and offers a celebration of ideas and stories, and a programme that includes debates and conversations with writers, scientists, historians, artists, gardeners, comedians and musicians from all over the world. The festival is held in a tented village and, this year, it runs from 23 May until 2 June.
