Flutter of colour
The increasing sunlight hours and warming evenings of late spring make it a delight to spend more time outside. This simple decoration evokes the traditional maypole and all its attendant celebrations. Scraps of ribbon in a multitude of colours and fabrics are tied at regular intervals along a length of thin, coloured rope. Strung between branches, it will catch both the eye and the breeze. The bunting takes minutes to make and lends a merry air to any garden gathering.
