TOUCH OF SWEET SPARKLE
The lacy white florets of elderflowers bloom from late May, emitting an elegant fragrance that can be used to make refreshing cordials and wines. This light, aromatic elderflower wine is made from hand-picked blossoms growing on the Sidlaw Hills in Scotland. The flowers are pressed and combined with fresh ingredients, which are then fermented using traditional techniques. Winemakers Ron and Judith Gillies produce berry and oak leaf wines, and fruity ciders made with apples, pears and plums from orchards around the Carse of Gowrie.
