Bracelets for sharing

amber and Danny weave colourful wristbands from leftover wool

-

FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS WOVEN from strands of yarn can be made quickly and easily, and prove an absorbing and fun pastime for Amber and Danny. The process is simple, requiring just a circular piece of card and lengths of fine wool in different colours. As the strands are passed through a slit in the card and the circle rotated, the bracelet begins to emerge through a central hole, so the children can watch it grow. Once the required length is reached, the ends are knotted to fit around the wrist, with blues and greens favoured by Danny, and Amber choosing pretty pink and lemon. Several can be made to share among friends.
