SHINY SIDE UP

It is easy for the cutlery drawer to become cluttered and dusty, filled with utensils that no longer see much use. Clearing it out approximately once a year can help to avoid this or the cutlery can be stored close to hand on a work surface or shelf. Scrubbed jam jars make excellent containers, with the cutlery standing upright in a steely bouquet and organised by type. Care should be taken with sharp edges when extracting a knife or fork to use from the tidy display.
