Recreating nature in felt
I love reading LandScape magazine, particularly the craft section featuring traditional craftspeople. I am a contemporary felt artist living and working in the Midlands, and my work is inspired by classic English landscapes, gardens and the coastline. I use wool and silk, with free machine embroidery and hand stitching, to create vibrantly colourful, Impressionist-style textile pictures. I also run felt picture making workshops, inspiring others to try traditional hand felting. Karen Wyeth, by email
