Flying straight off the page

-

It is amazing how coincidences happen. The April 2019 issue arrived on my doormat, on a morning with clear blue skies and a warm sun. I decided to remove the cover from the patio set for the first time this year and enjoy the weather, while reading my magazine. I reached the article regarding the Brimstone butterfly and remembered seeing several last year. Just as I turned the page, a brightly coloured Brimstone flew straight across my view, which was as bright a yellow as I have ever seen. A good omen? I hope so. My 16-year-old Jack Russell, Jasper, was also enjoying the warm sun. Russell Eales, Derbyshire
