Pastel necklace perfect for spring
Remnants of yarn left over from previous projects can be fashioned into a pretty necklace using a simple crochet pattern
ASOFT, TEXTURED NECKLACE in pretty springtime shades can be easily made using a few simple materials and with just a basic knowledge of crochet.
The necklace consists of colourful discs, each made from a small length of yarn. Double knit (DK) cotton is an ideal choice for its stitch definition, but any yarn can be used, and experimenting with the weight will create a more delicate or chunkier necklace as desired.
Threaded onto a long crocheted ‘chain’ or a length of colourful ribbon, the discs hang in a pleasing horseshoe shape. A fancy, treasured button can be added as a fastening.
