Make up

Using a bodkin needle, the discs are threaded onto the crochet chain in a repeat pattern of colour. If a button is used, a loop is created at one end by folding over the chain and sewing it securely in place a few crochet stitches further down. The size of the loop will depend on the size of the button selected. The button is sewn to the other end of the chain using a needle and thread. If using a length of ribbon, this is threaded through the discs in the same way and tied in a knot or bow.
