I’LL be honest, I’m not a big fan of stadium tours. It’s just not the same walking up to a stadium without the anticipation of a match to look forward to.
Yet a look behind the scenes at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium isn’t a bad substitute if you haven’t got the time, chance or big enough bank balance to get to the real thing.
I went with a few family members on the self-guided audio tour, which cost £20 for adults and also included admission to the Museum (which would be £8 separately).
You could, however, arrange to go on a legends tour at double the price with Charlie George, Nigel Winterburn or, er, Perry Groves.
