WELCOME!TO! LATE!TACKLE

AS WE went to press, it was difficult to avoid being bombarded by headlines and stories about ‘Project Big Picture’.

Yes, there are positive elements to it and it could bail out financiallystricken EFL club right now, but there will always be concern if too much power is in the hands of a small number of clubs.

We will watch with interest how things pan out...

In this edition, we’ve got a diverse range of material. There are articles on colourful characters like George Best, Paul Gascoigne and Mark Bosnich.

We’ve also got pieces on present day stars like Raheem Sterling, Neymar and Thiago Alcantara, and features on various issues affecting the game. Hopefully we’ve covered all the bases.

We read everything that comes in and use the best stuff each issue. Please do remember that as the magazine is printed only every six weeks or so, we can’t use timesensitive pieces.

That aside, the main rule is there are no rules: as long as your piece is about football (pretty crucial, that) and on the right side of legal, we’ll consider it for publication.
