Late Tackle Football Magazine

WELCOME TO LATE TACKLE

-

AS I pen these notes, West Ham are in fourth place in the Premier League – no, I can’t believe it either.

You’ve got to take your hat off to manager David Moyes. What a job he is doing with the Hammers. Whether they can sustain it remains to be seen, but they now have a team that will fight until the finish – and that’s what all fans want.

In this edition, we also take a look at Dele Alli’s decline at Tottenham. Spurs could certainly do with him recovering his best form, but whether that can happen under Jose Mourinho is doubtful.

We’ve got an in-depth analysis of David Platt’s remarkable career at both club and international level and a feature on Portuguese midfielder Raul Meireles, among many others.

If you fancy writing for the magazine please get in touch. You can send submissions and ideas to latetackle@hotmail.co.uk

We read everything that comes in and use the best stuff each issue. Please do remember that as the magazine is printed only every six weeks or so, we can’t use timesensitive pieces.

That aside, the main rule is there are no rules: as long as your piece is about football (pretty crucial, that) and on the right side of legal, we’ll consider it for publication.

We just want stuff that is interesting, funny, poignant, insightful, or maybe even all four.
